Transforming The Floral Pursuit into a Multi-Location Luxury Floral Brand

This florist marketing case study explores how Adflow Digital helped The Floral Pursuit grow from a three-person luxury florist into a multi-location business through ecommerce, performance marketing and operational technology.

Adflow Digital has worked with The Floral Pursuit for more than eight years and continues to manage its digital growth today.

When the relationship began, The Floral Pursuit was a small three-person operation introducing premium and exotic flowers to customers across Delhi NCR at a time when the category itself was still relatively new in India.

The proposition came with an immediate challenge. Exotic flowers and premium arrangements commanded significantly higher prices than those available through conventional local florists, which meant customers needed to understand the difference in quality, presentation and overall experience before they could justify the premium.

Adflow Digital developed the brand’s ecommerce website, established its performance marketing strategy across Google Ads and Meta Ads and subsequently helped develop the operational infrastructure required to support continued growth.

Over time, the engagement expanded into photography direction, scheduled local delivery and pickup, POS implementation, centralised inventory management and CRM integration across multiple locations.

The Challenge

When Adflow Digital began working with The Floral Pursuit, premium exotic flowers were still unfamiliar to a large part of the Indian market.

Consumers were accustomed to purchasing flowers from neighbourhood florists where pricing was considerably lower and purchases were generally driven by occasion and convenience.

The Floral Pursuit was offering a fundamentally different proposition centred around premium flowers, distinctive arrangements and a more sophisticated floral experience.

The first challenge was therefore establishing legitimacy and communicating why the difference justified a substantially higher price.

For an ecommerce-led floral business, customers also needed confidence that the flowers and arrangements presented online would arrive with the same quality, freshness and attention to detail.

As demand grew, the challenge changed.

What worked for a three-person operation could not support a rapidly expanding business with multiple stores, local deliveries, scheduled pickups, growing inventory and an increasingly large customer base.

The customer acquisition strategy and the operational infrastructure behind it therefore needed to evolve together.

The Strategy

Adflow Digital developed the growth strategy around three priorities: premium positioning, customer trust and measurable acquisition.

Photography became an important part of establishing that positioning.

Adflow provided ongoing photography direction designed to communicate the colour, scale, detailing and quality of The Floral Pursuit’s arrangements more effectively across the website and advertising.

The ecommerce experience was developed around the practical requirements of a premium local floral business. Customers could purchase online while selecting local delivery or pickup with scheduled time slots, giving them greater convenience while allowing the business to manage preparation and fulfilment efficiently.

As The Floral Pursuit expanded, Adflow also helped develop the technology supporting the physical business.

This included assistance with point-of-sale systems, centralised inventory management and CRM infrastructure, allowing customer information, inventory and transactions to be coordinated more effectively across locations.

Building the Campaign

Adflow Digital developed an ongoing acquisition programme across Google Ads and Meta Ads.

Google Ads enabled The Floral Pursuit to capture high-intent demand from customers actively searching for premium flowers, gifting and occasion-based requirements.

Meta Ads created a different opportunity. The highly visual nature of the product made Facebook and Instagram effective environments for introducing potential customers to the distinctive quality and presentation of the brand.

Creative strategy therefore placed the flowers themselves at the centre of the advertising.

Rather than attempting to compete with traditional florists on price, campaigns communicated the visual and experiential difference of The Floral Pursuit before customers compared it with lower-priced alternatives.

Advertising performance was continuously evaluated against actual commercial results, allowing audiences, search intent, creative and media investment to be refined around the activity generating meaningful revenue.

As new locations opened, advertising and digital infrastructure were adapted to support a much larger operation without losing the premium positioning that had originally differentiated the business.

The Impact

The Floral Pursuit’s journey demonstrates how sustained digital growth often requires much more than simply increasing advertising expenditure.

Adflow Digital initially helped establish trust in a relatively unfamiliar premium floral proposition and create a digital experience capable of communicating why the product commanded a higher price.

As the business grew, our role expanded alongside it.

Website development, photography direction, Google and Meta advertising, scheduled delivery and pickup, POS implementation, centralised inventory management and CRM infrastructure all became interconnected parts of the same growth strategy.

Maintaining approximately 8x ROAS month on month has provided a commercially sustainable foundation for continued customer acquisition while the operational infrastructure has enabled the business itself to expand from three employees to more than 100 across four locations.

Today, The Floral Pursuit has evolved from a small luxury florist into a substantial multi-location floral business generating approximately US$3 million in revenue, with plans to take the brand into new markets across India.

Key Results

Adflow Digital continues to manage The Floral Pursuit’s Google Ads and Meta Ads, maintaining an average ROAS of approximately 8x month on month.

The business has grown from an original three-person operation to more than 100 employees and today operates from four locations across Delhi NCR.

The Floral Pursuit now generates approximately US$3 million in revenue, with further plans to expand its presence beyond Delhi NCR and across India.

The partnership with Adflow Digital has now continued for more than eight years, spanning digital acquisition, ecommerce, creative direction and the operational systems required to support continued growth.
